Principal Business Analyst - Supply Chain

As an integral part of Smiths, you will be responsible for leading Demand Solutioning in the PMO. Your role involves collaborating with Group and Divisional stakeholders to gain insights into their goals and objectives related to process automation, transformation, and continuous improvement. By maintaining oversight of Divisional strategic objectives and aligning them with technology estate and process transformation efforts, you will play a crucial role in driving organizational success. Actively participating in Demand and Process Governance Boards, you will utilize user research insights and metrics to redefine the business analysis approach and communicate your business decisions effectively. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying enterprise-level business process improvements to drive product/service enhancements, thereby contributing to delivery plans and ensuring clear benefits. Working closely with designers, you will lead the creation and iteration of prototypes to address user challenges effectively. Collaboration with the Product Owner and/or Delivery Manager will enable you to prioritize and maintain a backlog of deliverables. Developing and presenting Value-Chain demand solutions roadmap and defining performance/impact measures will be key aspects of your role. In partnership with Enterprise Architecture and Data Management teams, you will align working practices to deliver comprehensive solutions to business challenges. Additionally, you will facilitate business requirements sessions, articulate solution rationale and success measures, and ensure the alignment of the BA Team with your deliverables to produce high-quality artifacts. Your qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, along with Business Analysis qualifications. With over 10 years of experience in a corporate Principal or Senior BA role, you should have expertise in ERP footprint changes, manufacturing execution systems, SAP supply chain modules, and business processes. Possessing comprehensive knowledge of Operational Excellence & SCM Transformation in a manufacturing/engineering industry is essential. Excellent communication and leadership skills, along with the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects, are required. Your passion for creating solutions, advanced analytical skills, and proficiency in information technology will be highly valued. Experience in managing Business Process Re-engineering projects, Change Management practices, and applications testing lifecycle is advantageous.
