Principal AI Engineer

You will be joining Target's Data Science & Engineering team in Bengaluru, India, as a part of a global team of over 4,000 professionals. Your role will involve developing and managing predictive algorithms to automate and optimize decisions at scale. You will work on creating solutions for Marketing, Supply Chain Optimization, Network Security, and Personalization using Target's vast data resources. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage state-of-the-art predictive algorithms - Harness Target's data breadth to build algorithms for Marketing, Supply Chain Optimization, Network Security, and Personalization - Work on 1-1 personalization of Marketing content, including creation, personalization, and orchestration - Architect, integrate, and optimize algorithmic decision making - Influence roadmaps and drive execution with a team of talented scientists and engineers - Develop a multi-year vision of responsive, personalized marketing within the MarTech platform - Deploy highly scalable, low latency AI & ML solutions Qualifications Required: - Computer Science graduate from reputed engineering institutes with 10+ years of experience in data science and artificial intelligence, or PhD with 7+ years of relevant experience - Experience in low latency ML engineering in AdTech/MarTech/Recommender Systems - Proficiency in architecting, deploying, and maintaining low latency distributed ML applications - Strong collaborator and mentor - Good knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts, algorithms, and computational complexity - Hands-on programming skills in Python, SQL, Hadoop/Hive; additional knowledge of Spark, Scala, R, Java desired - Passion for solving real-world problems using a data science approach - Excellent communication skills and ability to tell data-driven stories through visualizations and narratives - Self-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to collaborate effectively across geographies/time zones You will be part of a dynamic team at Target Data Sciences, working on innovative solutions in Marketing technology.
