Primary Math Teacher

Role Overview: As a Primary Teacher (PRT) for Mathematics and Science at GD Goenka School Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in teaching engaging and interactive lessons to primary school students. Your aim will be to inspire curiosity, foster a love for learning, and support the intellectual growth of young minds in a dynamic and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in Mathematics and Science, ensuring they meet curriculum objectives and are age-appropriate for all learners. - Use diverse teaching methods, resources, and technologies to make complex topics accessible and interesting. - Foster an environment of inquiry and critical thinking, encouraging students to explore and experiment with the subjects. - Implement hands-on activities and experiments to bring Science concepts to life and reinforce mathematical principles. - Monitor and assess students" progress through regular quizzes, tests, projects, and assignments, providing timely feedback to support their academic growth. - Identify and address individual learning needs, encouraging problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. - Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress reports to parents and school leadership. - Establish and maintain a positive, organized, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning, implementing effective management strategies. - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate interdisciplinary learning experiences and communicate regularly with parents regarding students" progress. - Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development workshops to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
