Job Title: CBSE Primary English Teacher

Location: Narayana Etechno School, Thiruvannamalai

Grades: Classes I – V

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Primary English Teacher to join our CBSE-affiliated school. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English, a deep understanding of child pedagogy, and the ability to engage young learners through interactive and creative teaching methods aligned with the CBSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English language (reading, writing, speaking, listening) to students from Grades I to V.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans based on CBSE guidelines.
• Incorporate age-appropriate teaching aids, storytelling, phonics, grammar activities, and digital resources.
• Foster a love for reading and writing through creative classroom activities.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Maintain student records, report cards, and contribute to PTMs (Parent-Teacher Meetings).
• Promote 21st-century skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Collaborate with peers and participate in school events, workshops, and continuous professional development.
• Ensure classroom discipline and student safety.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English or Education (B.A. + B.Ed. preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the primary level in a CBSE school.
• Thorough knowledge of CBSE curriculum and pedagogy for primary classes.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Competent in using technology (smartboards, online tools, MS Office, etc.) for teaching and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
