Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Primary and Lower Secondary ESL Facilitator. The ESL Facilitator will be responsible for planning and delivering effective English as a Second Language lessons to primary and lower secondary students. This includes preparing teaching materials, assessing student progress, and collaborating with other educators to ensure a cohesive learning experience. The facilitator will also participate in parent-teacher meetings, provide feedback to students and parents, and engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest ESL teaching methodologies.

Qualifications

• Strong command of English Language Teaching (ELT) and ESL instruction methodologies
• Experience in developing lesson plans and educational materials tailored to primary and lower secondary students
• Skills in assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, English, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent ESL certification is highly desirable
