Role Overview: As a Pricing Consultant at Vanderlande, you will be a part of the Strategic Costing & Verification team responsible for owning the methodology for the cost calculation process used in customer bids exceeding 50M EUR. Your role will involve working on tools and content needed for bid preparation, ensuring accuracy of cost data in calculation systems, and supporting Sales Teams. Collaborating with Business Unit stakeholders, you will prepare cost overviews and drive initiatives for cost model improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Perform standard checks on costing/pricing calculation files for approvals and guide stakeholders in preparing official documents. - Set up reference projects for cost monitoring and benchmarking. - Secure complete and accurate data in costing tools. - Support data analysis to enhance cost tools and values used. - Coach and train Business users in detailed cost calculations. - Participate in defining cost models for new products and services. - Analyze equipment or category costs across customer projects and prepare standard reports. - Contribute to continuous improvement programs. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Controls). - Advanced skills in Excel, databases, and analytics. - 4 to 6 years of business experience, preferably in an international Material Handling automation company. - Commercial and international affinity. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Fluency in English and strong cultural awareness. The department reports directly to the Strategic Costing & Verification department in The Netherlands with a strong connection to Voice management.
