Job Title:- Press Shop Supervisor

Location :- Vasai and Chandivali, Andheri (east)

Salary Range: - 20,000 to 25,000

Experience:- 1 to 2 years in Press Shop

Job Summary:

Responsible for supervising press shop operations to ensure smooth production, quality control, and adherence to safety standards. The role involves managing manpower, coordinating with maintenance and production teams, monitoring machine performance, and achieving production targets within timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily press shop activities, including operation of power presses, hydraulic presses, and related machines.
• Allocate and monitor work among operators and helpers to meet production schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, particularly in handling equipment used in gas manufacturing.
• Maintain records of production, rejections, and downtime, and report to management.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for machine upkeep and preventive maintenance.
• Train operators on machine operation, quality parameters, and safe work practices.
• Implement quality checks to reduce rework and rejection rates.
• Control raw material usage and minimize wastage.
• Ensure housekeeping, discipline, and adherence to company policies on the shop floor.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in press shop operations, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of power press operations, tool & die handling, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations in gas or heavy manufacturing industries.
