Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented professional to join our dynamic Presales and Solutioning team as a Techno-Functional Analyst. This is a unique role for someone passionate about the intersection of data science, artificial intelligence, and the BFSI domain.

You will work directly with the Head of Presales and Solutioning, supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of client solutioning—from understanding problem statements to developing winning proposals, designing solution approaches, and preparing impactful client-facing material.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposal & POV Development

• Assist in the creation of high-quality proposals, Points of View (POVs), and RFP responses for BFSI clients.

• Interpret client requirements, research relevant AI/ML applications, and articulate solution narratives effectively.

Solution Design & Approach Definition

• Collaborate with senior team members to define the solution approach for client use cases in banking, insurance, asset management, etc.

• Recommend suitable ML models, techniques, and methodologies aligned to the business context.

Presentation & Deck Creation

• Build visually compelling, client-ready decks for meetings, pitches, and internal discussions.

• Translate complex technical ideas into simple, business-understandable language.

Requirement Analysis

• Work closely with Sales and Account teams to understand client pain points and translate them into solution requirements (both functional and technical).

Industry Research & Use Case Development

• Stay up to date with the latest trends in AI, ML, and GenAI in BFSI.

• Contribute to the development of new solution offerings, reusable assets, and use case repositories.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Liaise with internal Data Science, Engineering, and Delivery teams to validate feasibility and refine proposed solutions.

• Maintain and update reusable content libraries (slides, case studies, frameworks, etc.).

Required Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

• MBA or equivalent with a focus on Finance/IT is a plus.

Must-Have Skills

• 4 to 7 years of experience in data science consulting, analytics solutioning, or techno-functional roles

• Strong understanding of AI/ML project lifecycle and familiarity with solution components, even if not hands-on

• Exposure to BFSI domain, with knowledge of retail/corporate banking, insurance, asset management, or risk/compliance

• Excellent PowerPoint and storytelling skills—should be able to create polished, client-facing decks independently

• Strong communication and articulation skills; able to simplify complex ideas

• Structured thinking with ability to break down abstract or ambiguous client asks into actionable components

• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with a solution-first mindset

Good-to-Have Skills

• Basic hands-on exposure to Python, SQL, or ML prototyping

• Awareness of Generative AI/LLMs and BFSI-specific GenAI use cases

• Experience in working on RFPs, bid responses, or deal solutioning

• Exposure to consulting frameworks like MECE, value chain analysis, or hypothesis-based problem solving
