Planning and implementing lessons : Preschool teachers create and execute age-appropriate lesson plans that cover various subjects such as language development, mathematics, science, art, music, and physical education. They use creative and engaging teaching methods to promote learning and exploration. Promoting social and emotional development : Preschool teachers help children develop important social skills such as sharing, taking turns, and cooperating with others. They create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe and supported. They also assist in managing and resolving conflicts among children. Providing individual attention : Preschool teachers understand that each child is unique and has different learning needs. They observe and assess each child's progress and provide individual attention and guidance accordingly. They may offer additional support to children who require extra help or have special educational needs. Monitoring and assessing progress : Preschool teachers keep track of children's progress by conducting regular assessments and maintaining records of their development. They communicate with parents or guardians to discuss their child's growth and share feedback on their achievements and areas for improvement. Ensuring safety and well-being : Preschool teachers maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, following health and safety guidelines. They supervise children during activities, both indoors and outdoors, to prevent accidents and promote a secure learning environment. They also teach and reinforce basic hygiene practices.
