PR Specialist

You are a PR Specialist who will be responsible for building strong media relationships, securing impactful press coverage, and shaping the public image of both Sorta Famous and their clients. You will need to build, maintain, and leverage relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and industry stakeholders. Identify PR opportunities and secure placements in top-tier print, digital, and broadcast outlets. Craft compelling brand stories, press releases, media kits, and pitches tailored to target publications. Plan and execute PR campaigns aligned with brand strategy and business goals. Support event publicity, ensuring strong media presence. Monitor media coverage, track sentiment, and provide timely reports with actionable insights. Work with the social media team to amplify earned media and integrate PR wins into the digital strategy. Stay updated on industry news, cultural moments, and competitor activities. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. You should have at least 2 years of PR experience, preferably in luxury, lifestyle, or creative industries. A strong network of media contacts both in India and globally is essential. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must. You should have a proven ability to secure high-value press placements. Being proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
