Role Overview: As an Account Manager at our company, you will be an experienced communicator who excels in an environment that values passion, creativity, and curiosity. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and grow senior level client relationships, ensuring alignment among internal and external stakeholders. You must possess excellent relationships with journalists in the Healthcare sector, strong grammar skills, knowledge of social media channels, and the ability to motivate your team effectively. Your role will also involve developing and executing integrated communication plans, providing strategic counsel to key clients, and serving as a trusted advisor on client and competitor matters. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in showcasing our agency's capabilities and results both internally and externally. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and grow senior level client relationships by negotiating and managing client expectations - Develop and execute integrated communication plans - Provide strategic counsel to key clients and serve as a trusted advisor - Educate clients on the value and positioning of our agency relative to competitors - Participate in the preparation and delivery of new business proposals and pitch meetings - Stay informed about industry trends and educate clients on the importance of social media engagement - Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact and proactively address any issues - Assist in budget and resource management, tracking team utilization effectively - Provide strategic insights and recommendations to influence business decisions - Build and maintain relationships with colleagues and partners, resolving issues collaboratively - Identify gaps or inefficiencies and recommend solutions to increase efficiency - Apply quantitative skills to analyze data sets and make actionable recommendations Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field preferred - 4-6+ years of experience in integrated communications or PR, preferably in the Healthcare sector - Minimum of 4 years of experience in corporate image, issues/crisis management, and strategic communications - Strong media relations background with experience working with global businesses and key media outlets - Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel ,
