Key Responsibilities:

Producer & Director Promotion

• Develop PR narratives around the

  personal journey and vision

  of producers and directors.
• Get

  featured interviews/articles

  published in relevant publications (film magazines, entertainment portals, startup platforms, etc.)
• Collaborate with them to

  launch podcasts or feature them on relevant shows

  .

Pre-Movie Buzz & Content Creation

• Strategize and execute

  pre-launch promotional campaigns

  across digital and traditional platforms.
• Write and pitch

  press releases, articles, and social storytelling posts

  related to the film.
• Create

  timelines and teaser plans

  for building momentum before the trailer/poster launch.

Media Outreach & Relations

• Establish and nurture relationships with

  film journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media houses

  .
• Coordinate

  media interviews

  , press junkets, and promotional podcast recordings.
• Monitor media coverage, track impressions, and prepare reports for visibility metrics.

Social & Community Engagement

• Collaborate with content creators/designers for

  trending reels, memes, behind-the-scenes stories

  , etc.
• Pitch the movie and its backstory to

  entertainment communities, forums, and niche audiences

  (e.g., indie cinema, regional buffs, film schools).

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills (written and verbal).
• Experience in

  entertainment journalism, PR, content marketing

  , or media strategy.
• Knowledge of how

  film PR cycles

  and

  influencer ecosystems

  work.
• Passion for movies, storytelling, pop culture, and the evolving digital landscape.
• Ability to

  think creatively

  , work under tight deadlines, and be media-savvy.

Bonus if you have:

• Existing media connections in Bollywood/Tollywood/OTT sectors.
• Experience running/appearing on podcasts or YouTube channels.
• Understanding of SEO & content distribution.
