Role & responsibilities

Overall Responsibility:

planning, scheduling, and controlling all production activities in a CNC machine shop to ensure timely delivery, optimal resource utilization, and adherence to quality standards.

Skillful coordination between design, procurement, production, and quality teams to achieve production targets efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

a. Develop and implement production plans based on customer orders, forecasts, and capacity.

b. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for CNC machines and manpower allocation.

c. Monitor work progress and adjust schedules to meet delivery timelines.

2.

a. Ensure timely availability of raw materials, tools, and consumables.

b. Coordinate with procurement for material requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels.

3.

a. Analyze machine capacity and manpower requirements for efficient utilization.

b. Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.

4.

a. Liaise with design, quality, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.

b. Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and production status when required.

5.

a. Track production performance against plans and prepare daily/weekly reports.

b. Maintain accurate records of production data, machine utilization, and downtime analysis.

6.

a. Implement lean manufacturing principles and optimize processes for cost reduction.

b. Drive initiatives for reducing cycle time and improving efficiency.

Essential candidate profile

• Strong Knowledge of

  CNC Machines, Tooling & machine processes

• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems AND EXCEL

• Good team handling skills

• Agile decision making skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work well with multifunctional teams.
