Key Responsibilities of a PPC Engineer in Cable Manufacturing:

• Developing processes for jacketing:

  This includes selecting the appropriate jacket material, controlling the extrusion process, and ensuring proper adhesion to the shield.

• Specifying and integrating equipment:

  This involves selecting and integrating machinery for drawing, stranding, insulating, sheathing, and other cable manufacturing processes.
