Battery Energy Storage Systems


What You’ll Work On

  • Simulating and analyzing power converter topologies (DC-DC, DC-AC, bidirectional).
  • Assisting in converter control development – voltage regulation, current limiting, SoC balancing.
  • Exploring circuit-level challenges: switching behavior, thermal management, filtering.
  • Reviewing latest research in power conversion and storage integration.

What We’re Looking For

  • Final-year or postgraduate student in Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics.
  • Comfortable with simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSIM.
  • Strong grasp of power electronic fundamentals — switching, modulation, efficiency.
  • Bonus: Exposure to BMS concepts, embedded control (e.g., STM32, TI), or EMI filtering.
