About the Role:

Senior Power BI Developer / Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End BI Development:

  Design, develop, and deploy interactive

  Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models

  that deliver actionable insights.

• Data Architecture:

  Architect and manage

  complex data pipelines

  from multiple sources (SQL Server, Azure Synapse, etc.), ensuring efficient

  ETL

  workflows.

• Performance Optimization:

  Apply

  DAX

  , Power Query (M Language), and

  SQL tuning techniques

  to achieve optimal report and model performance.

• Collaboration:

  Partner with

  business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts

  to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Governance & Administration:

  Manage

  Power BI Service

  (workspaces, gateways, datasets, RLS, and deployment pipelines) while enforcing governance and best practices.

• Mentorship:

  Guide and mentor junior Power BI developers and analysts on

  development standards, DAX optimization

  , and visualization best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 58 years of total experience with

  minimum 4 years of hands-on Power BI development

  (Desktop & Service).
• Expert-level proficiency in

  DAX

  and

  data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas)

  .
• Strong

  SQL

  skills for data manipulation and performance tuning.
• Proven experience in

  ETL / Data Transformation

  using

  Power Query (M Language)

  .
• Ability to work with large and complex datasets efficiently.
  
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
  
• Proven experience managing

  Power BI administration

  including gateways, RLS, and workspace governance.

Desirable / Added Advantage:

• Familiarity with

  Power BI AI capabilities

  (Key Influencers, Smart Narratives, Q&A, Anomaly Detection, Cognitive Services).
• Hands-on experience with

  Tableau

  or

  Looker (LookML)

  .
• Exposure to

  Salesforce CRM Analytics (Tableau CRM / Einstein Analytics)

  .
• Knowledge of

  Python

  R

  for data preparation or custom visualizations.
