Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer with 5 to 8 years of professional experience in a relevant data and reporting domain. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Power BI development, data modeling, reporting, SQL, and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS preferred). This position is based in Bengaluru.

Roles and Responsibility

Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements, ensuring data accuracy and usability.
Optimize report performance through efficient data modeling, DAX tuning, and query optimization techniques.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and data teams to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate needs into technical solutions.
Manage Power BI service components such as datasets, workspaces, dataflows, and gateways, ensuring smooth deployment and maintenance.
Implement Power BI performance optimization techniques, including efficient DAX query design and measures.
Troubleshoot performance issues, validate data accuracy, and ensure best practices in BI solution design.

Job Requirements

Strong hands-on experience in Power BI development, data modeling, reporting, SQL, and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS preferred).
Proven ability to design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI based on business requirements.
Extensive experience working with SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, or Redshift.
Solid understanding of Power BI Service features, including apps, workspaces, dataflows, datasets, and gateways.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and SMEs to gather reporting needs, define data models, and prepare requirement mapping documents.
