Role & responsibilities

• Managing projects, developing project plans, and, evaluating and monitoring performance.
• Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
• Day to day interaction with the client to ensure that the clients needs are well understood, defined & met.
• Drive pragmatic solutions working with technology, balancing short-term wins and longer-term strategic approaches.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
• Participates in the data domain technical and business discussions relative to future direction.
• Be proficient in evaluating new technologies and identifying the practical business application to develop enhanced business value and increase operating efficiency.
• Perform statistical analysis on data from various reports and dashboards and provide process capability baselines for the various business metrics and other business insights.
• Be a change agent.
• Evaluating the performance of the team to ensure that targets, quality and deadlines are met.
• Providing training, coaching and guidance to the team.
• Requires to have leadership qualities.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's / Masters degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Exceptional Communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong working knowledge of Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, Oracle and MS Office.
• Good to have: an understanding of Python, SAS, R, and Tableau.
• 6+ years of Business Analytics or similar practical experience in the financial services industry preferably mortgage.
• Proven analytical skills in data mining, statistical methods, data manipulation, report development and visualization.
• Open to work in flexible/rotational shifts.
