Power BI Developer

As a Power BI Developer specializing in JIRA Data Integration & Visualization, your role will involve integrating JIRA data sources, transforming them into actionable visualizations, and creating interactive dashboards to aid project management and analytics needs. Your expertise in Power BI, JIRA APIs, and data modeling will be crucial in developing insightful reports to track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and support data-driven decision-making. **Key Responsibilities:** - Connect to JIRA data sources via API or integration methods. - Extract, transform, and load (ETL) JIRA data into Power BI. - Design interactive dashboards and reports showcasing project metrics like sprint progress, issue types, resolution times, team velocity, and backlog health. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective visualizations. - Ensure data accuracy, optimize performance, and maintain user-friendly design in all reports. - Update and maintain dashboards as project needs evolve. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - Proven expertise in Power BI tools (DAX, Power Query, data modeling). - Strong understanding of JIRA structure, workflows, and APIs. - Experience in integrating JIRA with Power BI using connectors or custom scripts. - Proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques. - Ability to interpret complex data and present it clearly. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
