Job Description

Required Skills:

Candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience as Power BI developer.
Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and Datamodelling. Good exp in creating Power BI data model.
Proficiency in Data Modelling, Data Vault and Data Mesh. Solid understanding and experience in Kimball model, Snowflake Schema, Medallion Lakeshouse architecture.
Proficiency in relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Microsoft SQL Server, and experience with designing data models that support complex Business Intelligence applications.
Ability to design, build, and deploy interactive user interfaces for interrogating data.
Knowledge of SSAS (Tabular and Multi-dimensional), Flow, Power Apps and Power Automate.
Familiarity with Synapse, data warehousing and ETL processes.
Familiarity with Azure and Azure Data Suite (Data Factory, SQL DB, Data Lake Storage)
Understanding of No-SQL databases like CosmosDb.
Strong problem-solving skills to drive resolution of defects and issues by understanding client needs and presenting options to resolve the problem.
Proficiency in recognizing, developing, and executing solutions to address gaps and fulfill the business's requirements.
Outstanding analytical/problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Designing, developing and maintaining Power BI based dashboards using best practices for performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into data models.
Creating effective data models in SQL and Power BI.
Optimize existing Power BI solutions for improved performance and user experience.
