" Job Summary Job Profile: Power BI Developer Exp : 2 to 6 yrs Location: Chennai (Customer Location) PN: Aware of Fraud profile (We will find a lot of resources whose integrity will be questionable). Keep an eye on such profile We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to support the migration of our existing dashboards and reporting infrastructure from Qlik Sense to Power BI. The ideal candidate will have experience in both platforms and a strong understanding of data modelling, visualization best practices, and business requirements gathering. Responsibilities Analyze existing Qlik Sense reports, dashboards, and data models. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the purpose and logic of current Qlik Sense applications. Recreate dashboards, reports, and KPIs in Power BI, ensuring visual and functional parity (or improvements). Design and develop efficient Power BI data models (Star Schema) for performance and usability. Migrate or rebuild any ETL logic embedded in Qlik Sense into Power BI-compatible solutions (Power Query / DAX). Ensure data integrity and validation between old and new platforms. Implement row-level security and role-based access controls in Power BI. Document the migration process, data mapping, and design decisions. Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users on the new Power BI reports. Work with database engineers or data warehouse teams as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong expertise in Power BI: Power Query, DAX, custom visuals, service portal (publishing, sharing). Strong SQL skills and understanding of database concepts. Experience in data transformation, integration, and visualization. Familiarity with performance tuning and best practices in both platforms. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members. Experience with Qlik Sense (dashboard development, scripting, data modeling) will be nice to have skill
