Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Design, develop, and implement BI reports and dashboards using data visualization tools
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine report requirements
Translate business needs into technical specifications
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in the reports
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of reporting tools
Provide training and support to business users on BI reporting tools
Maintain documentation for all reports and dashboards

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Experience with Microsoft Power BI
Background in data warehouse design (eg dimensional modeling) and data mining
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills

BONUS POINTS:

Knowledge of other Azure services (AzureDevOps, Function apps, etc)
Healthcare industry experience
Data warehouse experience

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
