Power BI - Con/AM- BLR

Job Responsibilities

Data Management, Analysis and Visualization:Design compelling data visualizations and dashboards that support insight generation and effective data storytelling. Lead the design, development, and maintenance of BI dashboards and reports using Power BI. Integrate various data sources (Azure, SharePoint, SQL Server, APIs, etc.) with Power BI and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using DAX and Power Query (M Language) Implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) to enforce granular access controls, personalize data views based on user roles, and ensure compliance with data governance and privacy standards. Designing efficient data models with relationships, hierarchies, and star/snowflake schemas. Leverage machine learning techniques to enhance BI capabilities, including predictive modeling, anomaly detection, and automated insights within dashboards and reports. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

Project Management:

Lead the team in planning, executing, and monitoring data-driven projects. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met within timelines. Identify and address potential roadblocks and propose solutions to maintain project momentum.

Quality Assurance:

Develop and implement data quality control procedures to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Conduct regular data audits and perform root cause analysis for any data discrepancies. Work closely with data engineers to maintain and improve data infrastructure.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions. Communicate complex data-related concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Act as a liaison between the Data and Analytics Team and other departments to facilitate data-sharing and collaboration.

Continuous Improvement

:Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data management and analytics. Propose and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness. Participate in knowledge sharing sessions to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional ExperienceThe candidate must have 6-8 years of relevant experience in Data analytics, BI solutioning or a related field.

Skills

Expert-level proficiency in Power BI and SQL. Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL pipelines. Hands-on experience with PySpark and big data platforms. Understanding of cloud services and machine learning tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of leading teams and collaborating across departments. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
