Key Accountabilities

• Serve as a data expert supporting the wider Finance team to align business problems with data-driven solutions.
• Use SQL and other data querying languages to extract, analyse, and manipulate data.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in

  DAX

  for developing complex Power BI measures and calculations.
• Actively participate in the

  Power BI Peer Review

  process to ensure reports meet gold-standard development practices.
• Leverage

  Power Automate

  to enhance workflow efficiency (added advantage).
• Utilize knowledge in

  Alteryx

  for data preparation, blending, and automation.
• Drive process and reporting automation to ensure timely and accurate delivery of reporting outputs.
• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing sessions and regularly update the

  SOP Confluence

  page with new learnings.
• Identify and implement data-quality capture routines and feedback processes to improve data veracity.
• Lead project streams focused on system development and data visualisation initiatives.
• Feed the development pipeline with cost/benefit-based opportunities to improve data throughput across the system estate.
• Act as a recognised expert for financial data lineage and data housing across T&F.
• Serve as a visualisation champion with strong understanding of both software and underlying data architecture.
• Identify opportunities to deliver early phases of projects by breaking down large initiatives into smaller components.
• Continuously update and maintain

  JIRA

  tickets throughout 2025 to keep stakeholders informed of progress.
• Conduct project retrospectives within two months of delivery to identify communication, documentation, and teamwork improvements.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Strong technical knowledge in:
  • Power BI
  • SQL
  • Power Automate
  • Alteryx
  • AWS (basic understanding)
• Ability to analyse data flows across multiple sources such as

  RDS, Datasphere, EDW, and Redshift

  .
• Experience designing, delivering, and supporting a data-visualisation estate, preferably with financial datasets.
