About the Role:

Key Responsibilities

Schema Design
: Structure databases to support efficient data handling and access.
ER Diagram Creation
: Develop Entity-Relationship diagrams to map data relationships effectively.
Documentation
: Maintain clear and detailed documentation for database structures and processes.
Stored Procedures
: Create and optimize stored procedures for enhanced performance.
Replication
: Set up and manage replication strategies to ensure data consistency and availability.
Backup and Recovery
: Design and implement robust backup and recovery plans to safeguard data.
Failover Mechanism
: Establish failover systems to ensure high availability and minimize downtime during failures.
Sharding
: Implement and manage database sharding strategies to improve scalability and performance.

Primary Skills (Must-Have)

PostgreSQL
: Expert-level proficiency in managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases.
Database Administration
: Advanced knowledge of schema design, stored procedures, replication, failover, backup, recovery, sharding, and documentation

Secondary Skills (Good-to-Have)

UPI Exposure
: Intermediate or beginner-level understanding of Unified Payments Interface (UPI) systems.
