As a PostgreSQL DBA at Capgemini, you will have the opportunity to leverage your 4+ years of experience in PostgreSQL production environments. Your role will involve a strong understanding of PostgreSQL internals, architecture, and tools, along with proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL. You will be responsible for replication (streaming, logical), clustering, and failover mechanisms. Your responsibilities will include: - Installing, configuring, and upgrading PostgreSQL databases and related tools. - Monitoring database performance and proactively addressing issues. - Performing database tuning, indexing, and query optimization. - Implementing and managing backup and recovery strategies.
