Postdoctoral Fellow / Assistant Professor in Technology (AI Applications)

Key Responsibilities

For Both Roles:

• Conduct advanced research in AI and applied machine learning (e.g., NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, generative AI).
• Publish in high-impact journals and conferences.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across technology, management, and social sciences.
• Contribute to the development of AI-driven prototypes and solutions with societal/industrial relevance.
• Mentor students and contribute to building research capacity.
• Participate in workshops, seminars, and global conferences.

Additional for Postdoctoral Fellows:

• Drive independent and collaborative research projects under faculty supervision.
• Support grant applications and contribute to funded research deliverables.
• Focus on building a strong publication record and research impact.

Additional for Assistant Professors:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in AI, machine learning, and related technologies.
• Develop and update curriculum in emerging AI domains.
• Supervise PhD, Masters, and Bachelors research projects.
• Lead grant applications, consultancy projects, and industry partnerships.
• Contribute to committees, program reviews, and institutional initiatives.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

• Strong track record of research publications in reputed journals/conferences.
• Proficiency in programming and AI frameworks (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Demonstrated expertise in applied AI domains (healthcare, robotics, business, sustainability, smart cities, etc.).
