Job Description

The candidate will be part of a cross functional team whose objective is to support management of client s renewable energy assets and fulfillment of contractual compliance obligations associated with those assets. You will support optimization of all portfolios and execute completion of tasks that have been assigned to you.

Responsibilities include:

Gain expertise in the commercial, contractual, regulatory, and reporting obligations of an operating portfolio of renewable energy assets (solar, wind, BESS), and execute tasks to ensure portfolio compliance with all project agreements
Assist Portfolio Managers and other team members in tracking and fulfilling on-going tasks and deliverables; use Radian Digital software to drive workflow by managing tasks, tracking operations, administering contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and financial reporting.
Create and prepare performance and analytical reports for the operating projects.
Support ad-hoc technical and financial analysis and reporting.
Coordinate with the Technical Asset Management team and Operations and Maintenance (OM) personnel on the performance and operations of the projects
Track project performance, weather, and operational data for operating projects through event tickets and O M work orders. Understand and make use of the data in the context of supporting the optimization of projects and portfolios. Create templates for tracking and analysis as needed.
Manage document administration and data rooms for project specific documents.
Coordinate, compile and submit FERC, EIA and other regulatory compliance obligations with support of internal team members and 3rd parties.
Coordinate with the Financial Asset Management team and assist in billing and revenue tracking, invoice tracking, SREC administration, settlements and other financial deliverables.
Effectively participate in the creation of new SOPs and manage the updating of existing SOPs.
Support the management of relationships with key project stakeholders, including project owner investors, power offtakers, OM providers, internal cross functional team members and multiple external 3rd parties.
Organize meeting agendas, both internal and with clients; potentially lead meetings with O M providers or other counter parties.
Provide excellent customer service internally and externally.
Lead small projects and activities.
Train and assist newer team members with standard tasks.
Drive Resolution of straight forward problems.

REQUIRED SKILLS COMPETENCIES

Renewable Energy Industry knowledge in the following areas:

Project performance data analysis, cost benefit analyses, project reporting and presentation
Able to liaise with clients on routine matters in a professional manner
Team player, effective at using interpersonal connections and customer service skills to achieve team goals. Proactive in supporting the PM and the team.
Able to listen carefully and speak clearly and professionally in all situations. Possesses business interpersonal skills and customer service skills. Able to read, interpret and extract critical information from various types of contracts.
Able to take ownership of tasks and pursue to completion, plan and organize meetings and communicate with clients and other key external stakeholders.
Able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and deal with frequent interruptions, changes, delays or unexpected events.
Able to analyze data and create reports
Demonstrates passion to learn in a rapidly growing often unstructured environment. Always looking to learn, grow and expand their knowledge.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Gather, review and asses information appropriately.
Ability to analyze complex data and create reports.
Working Knowledge of basic accounting and budget management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION EDUCATION

Experience in renewable energy industry asset management or operations, plus some educational experience in renewable energy. Experience with PV, wind or BESS equipment and system design.
Experience in working with C I and utility scale renewable energy projects. Familiarity with Community Solar management.
Proven documentation, presentation, and communication skills - both written and verbal
Customer service experience
University Degree (or equivalent) with 2-4 years of experience or equivalent work experience
Preferred field of degree: Business Administration, Economics, Energy Studies, Environmental Studies, Technical Engineering or Related Field

REQUIRED SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE

Expertise in MS Office MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) and Adobe PDF toolsets
Familiarity with asset management software systems third-party monitoring platforms

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

At least 2+ years working with operating renewable energy assets: solar, wind or BESS
Business writing experience
Experience in a service provider environment
Experience with commercial renewable energy contracts
Experience with data analysis, reporting and presentation
Experience with a U.S. based company

PREFERRED SKILLS COMPETENCIES

Working knowledge of solar PV, wind or BESS equipment and system design
Working knowledge of C I and utility-scale renewable energy projects and Community Solar management
Root cause analysis and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Familiarity with asset management software systems third-party monitoring platforms
