Portfolio Analyst, AVP

You will be accountable for supporting all aspects of the portfolio management approach, ensuring accurate reporting, governance, and oversight of transformation investments. Working closely with the Portfolio Manager, you will track workforce and financial plans, support forecasting, and provide insights to senior leaders to enable informed decision-making. This role offers considerable variety and stakeholder exposure, giving you the opportunity to drive continuous improvement across the investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead activities in the development of the strategic investment portfolio, managing the calendar of events and ceremonies.
• Partner with stakeholders to review and manage the approval process of financial business cases.
• Develop components of the investment plan, including budget, cost, and benefits forecasts for current and future years.
• Support the rolling wave resourcing and financial plans, tracking actual performance against forecasts.
• Provide management information (MI) and analysis to identify recommendations for programme resourcing and cost management.
• Drive continuous improvement in portfolio management practices and governance.
• Conduct regular reviews of the investment portfolio and backlog, challenging the status quo and ensuring risks are considered.
