Political Science and International Relations (PSIR ) UPSC

We are looking for an experienced and passionate faculty member to teach Political Science & International Relations (PSIR) for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. The ideal candidate should have deep subject knowledge, familiarity with the UPSC exam pattern, and the ability to mentor aspirants through concept clarity and answer writing skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Teach both Paper I (Political Theory, Indian Politics) and Paper II (Comparative Politics, International Relations) as per the UPSC syllabus.
• Design and deliver engaging lectures and high-quality study material.
• Conduct answer writing practice sessions and provide personalized feedback.
• Help students understand concepts through real-world examples and current affairs integration.
• Stay updated with the latest UPSC trends and past year questions.
• Evaluate test series and guide students on performance improvement.
• Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and mentorship programs as needed.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate degree or higher in Political Science or related field.
• Prior teaching experience in the UPSC domain (PSIR) preferred.
• Strong command over the entire PSIR syllabus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Candidates with UPSC Mains/Interview experience (with PSIR optional) will be given preference.
• PhD from a central university is a plus (optional).
