Political Media Monitoring & Data Analyst – Tamil Nadu

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong knowledge of Tamil Nadu politics and proficiency in Microsoft Excel to support our political media monitoring team. The role involves tracking news and media coverage, categorizing political content, and preparing Excel-based reports.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor Tamil & English newspapers, TV debates, magazines, and online media for Tamil Nadu political coverage
• Track mentions of political leaders, parties, and constituencies
• Enter, clean, and organize data in Excel on a daily basis
• Categorize content (positive/negative/neutral, party-wise, issue-wise)
• Generate structured Excel reports for political stakeholders
• Summarize key political developments and media narratives

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of Tamil Nadu political landscape (parties, leaders, key issues)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, filtering, pivot tables, charts)
• Good communication skills in Tamil (reading/writing) and basic English
• Attention to detail, ability to work with deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in media monitoring, political research, or campaign analytics
• Familiarity with digital tools for tracking online/social media

Compensation: Based on experience
