PMS Dental Analyst/Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Practice Management (PMS) Analyst with strong domain knowledge of dental clinic operations, practice management systems, and financial workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with major dental PMS platforms and a deep understanding of clinical, operational, and financial interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, interpret, and validate data across various Dental Practice Management Software (PMS) platforms, including Power Practice, Abeldent, Dentrix, Tracker, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, and others.
• Understand and navigate PMS interfaces such as:
• Patient Demographics
• Ledgers
• Appointments
• Treatment Plans
• Claims & Insurance
• Guarantors & Financial Responsibility
• Perform detailed analysis on financial and operational metrics:
• Production & Collection
• Production Adjustments & Collection Adjustments
• Accounts Receivable (AR) & Insurance AR
• Support data extraction, validation, and reconciliation for reporting, analytics, and migration projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify automation or process-improvement opportunities in PMS workflows.
• Assist with test planning, QA, and validation efforts for PMS-related enhancements and data integrations.
• Prepare process documentation, requirements, and user guides as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of dental practice operations and PMS workflows.
• Experience with at least one major Dental PMS; familiarity with multiple systems is a major plus.
• Solid understanding of dental financial concepts and ledger-level details.
• Experience with insurance workflows, claims lifecycle, and AR management.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to partner with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred / Additional Skills

• Hands-on experience writing SQL queries for data analysis, validation, or troubleshooting.
• Experience with reporting/visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Proficiency in documentation and project-tracking tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Exposure to data analytics, QA processes, or EDW/BI environments is a plus.
