Playwright QA(Immediate joiners preffered)

1) Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in automated testing using Playwright.

2) Technical Skills:

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Playwright for browser automation.
• Familiarity with Mocha or other testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

3) Testing Principles:

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with both functional and non-functional testing.

4) Problem-Solving Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

5) Communication Skills:

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.

6) Adaptability:

• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

1) Test Automation Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and Mocha.
• Create reusable and modular test components to maximize efficiency and maintainability.

2) Test Scenario Identification:

• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and analyze test scenarios based on user stories and requirements.
• Participate in the review of user stories to ensure testability.

3) Test Case Creation:

• Develop comprehensive test cases for both new and existing features.
• Ensure test cases cover functional, performance, and security aspects of the application.

4) Execution and Reporting:

• Execute automated test suites and analyze results.
• Report and document defects, providing detailed information for effective troubleshooting.

5) Integration with CI/CD:

• Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure automated tests are executed as part of the build process.

6) Maintain Test Environments:

• Set up and maintain test environments, including test data and configurations.
• Ensure consistency between test environments and production.

7) Collaboration:

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand application features and behaviors.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and provide input on testing strategies.

8) Documentation:

• Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing documentation.
