Platform Engineer

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IAC) practices.
• Utilize your deep expertise in Golang development (5+ years) to enhance our platform''s functionalities and performance.
• Implement and maintain Envoy for service mesh architecture and API gateway solutions.
• Work closely with AWS services to architect and deploy scalable solutions in the cloud.
• Develop automation solutions throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to streamline deployments, monitoring, and operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues and optimize application performance.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, and propose continuous improvements for infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Extensive hands-on experience (5+ years) as a Golang developer, with a strong understanding of concurrency, data structures, and microservices architecture.
• Practical knowledge of Envoy for managing service mesh and proxying traffic.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, with a focus on services like EC2, S3, IAM, etc.
• Experience in Kubernetes administration, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience in building automation tools for deployment and monitoring.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
