Platform Engineer

As a Platforms Engineer on the Platforms Automation team at Macquarie, you will play a crucial role in developing solutions and facilitating communication between platform teams and application teams. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-value solutions - Developing microservices and user interfaces using an API-first approach - Planning, documenting, developing, and testing integrations with various platform services - Automating the infrastructure lifecycle comprehensively - Participating in operational and support activities, with a focus on developing DevOps tools for supportability and scalability of services Qualifications required for this role are: - Strong software development skills in Java, Python, or Golang - Experience in developing web services using Spring Boot (Java) or Falcon/Fast (Python) - Expertise in CI/CD pipeline automation with knowledge in AWS, Docker, Bamboo, Argocd, or K8S - Familiarity with Observability tools and practices such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar monitoring tools Macquarie, a global financial services group, is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
