Platform Engineer Integration

The key responsibilities for this position include: Designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting integrations primarily using Boomi, ensuring quality, scalability, and reusability. Translating integration requirements into technical designs in collaboration with architects, solution owners, and solution engineers. Configuring and maintaining integration components including connectors, processes, data transformations, and error handling in Boomi. Adhering to GxP compliance, validation, and regulatory standards. Participating in the full lifecycle of integration development, implementing standards including code reviews, documentation, unit testing, and troubleshooting. Maintaining detailed technical documentation and contributing to internal knowledge repositories. Collaborating with cross-functional teams during cutovers, data migrations, and go-lives. Cooperating with solution engineers to monitor and optimize integration performance and reliability, proactively addressing any system or data issues. Supporting solution owners and solution engineers in developing solution roadmaps. Supporting solution owners and solution engineers in evaluating integration demands, providing solution assessments, and effort estimates. Staying up to date with new Boomi features, industry best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to integration engineering. Key performance indicators for this role include: Integration delivery timelines aligned with project and change plans. Defect rate post-deployment. Support issue resolution time. Code and process reusability. System performance and throughput of integrations. Documentation completeness and update frequency. Minimum Requirements: Work Experience and Skills: 5+ years of experience in an IT organization, including in a role as a Software Engineer, preferably in an enterprise IT environment. Hands-on development experience with Boomi and associated components. Strong understanding of integration patterns and data transformation techniques (API, file- and message-based integrations, ETL, ELT, CDC, EDI). Proficiency in troubleshooting, exception handling, and performance tuning of integrations. Solid knowledge of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, Basic Auth, API keys) and security best practices. Familiarity with working in waterfall, agile, or hybrid delivery models. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in multi-platform environments (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Veeva, Workday). Experience with legacy integration platforms (e.g., Axway, Informatica) is a plus. Strong analytical and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a distributed, global setup.,
