Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead triage for high-severity incidents, including root-cause analysis across multiple interdependent microservices.
• Troubleshoot issues spanning API gateways, FastAPI services, and React-based frontend integrations.
• Manage and tune Helm-based deployments within CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or equivalent).
• Analyze service logs, container metrics, and network traces to identify performance bottlenecks.
• Develop or refine automation scripts (Python/Bash) to streamline deployments, monitoring, or recoveries.
• Work closely with DevOps and Data Engineering teams to ensure operational excellence.
• Maintain service-to-service dependency maps and update documentation for runbooks and SOPs.
• Participate in post-incident reviews, contribute to reliability engineering initiatives, and mentor Level 1 team members.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on experience managing

  Kubernetes

  Helm

  , and containerized deployments.
• Working knowledge of

  and scripting for operational automation.
• Familiarity with

  FastAPI

  , REST APIs, and microservice interdependencies.
• Understanding of cloud networking, secrets/config management, and CI/CD automation.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively.

• Knowledge of

Ideal Background

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in

  DevOps, SRE, or Application Support

  roles supporting distributed cloud systems.
• Demonstrated experience with

  Python-based services

  and

  Helm-driven CI/CD

  pipelines.
