Plastics Parts Design Engineer

Design Engineer responsibilities includes overseeing the research and design team, conceptualizing, and designing new products, testing product designs, and drafting the specifications for the manufacturing of new products. Key & Functional Responsibilities and Authority: Sound Knowledge in mechanical engineering design principle. Knowledge in manufacturing process. Knowledge in Basic Engineering Calculation. Experience in designing Large assemblies using Solid works. Knowledge in Material (Plastics) selection based on functional requirement and application. Sound Knowledge in GD&T and Tolerance stack up analysis. Must be capable to make good presentations to explain the problems of samples produced by understanding the product assembly design and requirements. Must be experienced in making the Presentations to highlight the tool design challenges, DFM and Moldflow. Knowledge in plastic injection mold manufacturing, molding process, defects and troubleshooting, tooling considerations and design & development of plastic parts. According to Part defects, can provide suggestion, analysis and improvements. Validate engineering changes request from customer. Sound technical and design knowledge in Mechanical considerations for product development. Hands-on experience in detailed product design/prototyping experience. Must have experience in maintaining documents related to ISO 9001 & ISO13485. Identifying the needs of the company and integrating market research to determine the needs and goals of new products. Qualification, Experience & Other Requirements: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering / Plastic Engineering. Solid works 2018 and above AutoCAD Detail Oriented, self- driven with strong organization skills, logical thinker, results oriented. Can work under pressure and deliver task within timeline. Ability to work with Europe Design team and communicate effectively. Must have Engineering Degree in Plastics/Mechanical with relevant working experience of around 3 to 5 years and sound knowledge in Plastics.
