Job Summary:

The Plastic Quality Executive is responsible for ensuring that all plastic products meet internal quality standards and comply with external regulatory requirements. This role involves monitoring production processes, conducting quality inspections, managing quality documentation, and coordinating with production and R&D teams to maintain consistent product quality and implement improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-process and final product quality inspections of plastic parts/products.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO, GMP, etc.) and customer specifications.
• Inspect raw materials and packaging components to ensure suitability for production use.
• Investigate non-conformities, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain and update quality documentation such as inspection reports, test records, and deviation reports.
• Coordinate with the production team to resolve quality issues during manufacturing.
• Assist in audits (internal, customer, third-party) and prepare related documentation.
• Calibrate and maintain testing and measuring instruments used in quality checks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in product quality and process efficiency.
• Train operators and staff on quality awareness and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Polymer Science, Plastic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a plastic manufacturing environment, preferably in quality control or assurance.
• Strong understanding of plastic materials, injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding processes.
• Familiarity with quality tools and techniques such as 5S, 7 QC Tools, FMEA, SPC, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or other relevant standards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with customer audits and certifications.
• Working knowledge of statistical analysis for quality control.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for plastic products (e.g., FDA, RoHS, REACH) if applicable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
