Production & Operations Manager – Reprocessed Plastic Granule Manufacturing

About the Company:
A leading reprocessed plastic granule manufacturing company specializing in high-quality recycled polymers such as ABS, HIPS, PPCP, and other engineering plastics, is looking to expand its operations team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production and Operations professional to lead and manage our manufacturing plant operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastic recycling, reprocessed granule production, maintenance management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day production operations for reprocessed plastic granule manufacturing.
• Ensure consistent product quality through process control and inspection of raw materials and finished goods (ABS, HIPS, PPCP, etc.).
• Manage production teams, operators, and supervisors to achieve production targets.
• Plan and coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance for plant equipment.
• Handle raw material inventory, production planning, and dispatch coordination.
• Enforce strict adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards and factory compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for process efficiency and waste reduction.
• Manage manpower allocation and ensure smooth shift operations.

Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in production and operations within plastic reprocessing / polymer manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of recycling processes, extrusion, compounding, and granule quality inspection.
• Proven ability in team management, production planning, and preventive maintenance.
• Should be willing to work from Coimbatore.
• Good understanding of EHS, compliance norms, and plant documentation.

Qualification:
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Polymer / Production Engineering or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,741.47 - ₹60,000.00 per month
