Plasma Cutting Operator

Job Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation:
• Operate CNC or manual plasma cutting machines as per drawings and specifications.
• Set up and adjust machine parameters (speed, gas flow, amperage, etc.).
• Load and unload metal sheets or plates safely.
• Quality & Inspection:
• Ensure cuts meet dimensional and surface quality requirements.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools (vernier, tape, gauges).
• Report and correct any defects or deviations.
• Maintenance & Safety:
• Perform daily maintenance checks on the plasma cutting machine.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety rules related to cutting operations, PPE, and gas handling.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Record production output and material usage.
• Report downtime, maintenance needs, or material shortages to the supervisor.
• Team Coordination:
• Work closely with welders, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production schedules.
• Assist in training new operators when required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
