Job Description

Plant Head / Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

Oversee complete
production operations
for extrusion, calendering, and mixing sections.
Ensure achievement of
production targets, quality standards, and timely delivery
.
Manage and optimize
machine utilization, manpower planning, and process parameters
.
Lead
continuous improvement initiatives
for productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Coordinate closely with
Maintenance, Quality, Stores, and Planning
departments.
Drive
safety, 5S, and lean manufacturing practices
across the plant.
Maintain accurate
production reports, downtime analysis, and performance KPIs
.
Develop and motivate production teams to achieve organizational goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification:
B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical / Polymer Engineering.
Experience:
1520 years in extrusion or calendering operations (PVC/UPVC sheets, pipes, or boards).
Strong knowledge of
extrusion lines, calendering machines, compounding, and mixing
.
Experience in
handling large teams
and managing full plant operations independently.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Exposure to
ISO systems and safety norms
will be preferred.
