As the Plant Head at the cosmetic manufacturing plant in Mohali, your role will be crucial in overseeing the entire operations to achieve business goals effectively. Here are the key details from the job description: Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage end-to-end plant operations, ensuring smooth production of cosmetic products such as skincare, hair care, and personal care. - Prepare and monitor production schedules to meet market demand and dispatch deadlines efficiently. - Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, FDA, BIS, and other cosmetic regulatory standards for quality assurance. - Coordinate with procurement, warehousing, and logistics teams to optimize supply chain efficiency. - Lead, motivate, and develop plant staff across various functions while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. - Prepare and control the plant's operating budget, monitor operational costs, and implement cost-saving strategies effectively. - Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, drive sustainability initiatives, and develop long-term operational strategies aligned with business goals. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors/Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, or related field. - 12-18+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in cosmetic, FMCG, or pharmaceutical industry with at least 5 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO, and cosmetic industry regulations, along with proven expertise in production management, quality control, and cost optimization. - Leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
