Plant Finance Manager - Automotive

As a Plant Finance Manager at our client's fast-growing Indian automotive brand, you will play a crucial role in revolutionizing the commercial transport industry towards greener and more sustainable mobility solutions. With solid financial backing, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end financial operations at the factory. Your primary focus will be to collaborate closely with the Plant Head and cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing daily financial operations such as AR/AP, invoicing, PO approvals, GRNs, and e-way bills. You will lead month-end closings, prepare plant P&L, financial schedules, and MIS reports. Managing product costing, inventory valuation, and ensuring alignment with accounting standards will be essential. Additionally, maintaining strong financial hygiene through balance sheet schedules and reconciliation reviews will be part of your routine tasks. Tax compliance (direct and indirect) and support in statutory/internal audits will also fall under your scope of responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this role should have 4+ years of experience in plant finance with a strong understanding of costing and inventory control. Proficiency in SAP is a must, along with the ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments. A background as a Cost Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute will be highly preferred.
