Role Overview

The Plant Finance Executive will oversee financial operations at the plant, focusing on transactional accounting, statutory compliance, and cost management. This role includes managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate material accounting and handling indirect tax compliance (GST, TDS). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manufacturing finance and SAP, with strong analytical and reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Coordinating with vendors on GST related issues.
• Handle TDS deductions.
• Maintain accurate material accounting and tracking of material movements.
• Support in providing details for monthly, quarterly and annual financial closure.
• Coordinating with Auditors for data support and solving queries.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement and supply chain teams for financial inputs and decision-making.
• Review of General Ledger and take corrective action.
• Ensure proper record maintenance at plant.
• Knowledge of GST related compliance in sales invoice process.

Qualifications

Education: M. Com, CA / CMA (semi-qualified)

Experience: 26 years in plant finance or manufacturing accounting

Tools: SAP; Advanced MS Excel and financial reporting tools

Skills Required

• Strong understanding of AP/AR processes and statutory compliance (GST, TDS)
• Knowledge of material accounting and manufacturing cost structures
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration
