Plant Chemist

The role involves conducting chemical analysis of plant materials to identify active compounds and assess their properties. You will be responsible for researching and developing new plant-derived chemicals using advanced analytical techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry to separate, identify, and quantify chemical components of plant samples. Additionally, you will conduct experiments to synthesize plant-based chemicals and evaluate their effectiveness in various applications. It is essential to ensure compliance with regulatory standards in product development and testing. Collaboration with other scientists, researchers, and engineers will be necessary to optimize the extraction and formulation of plant-derived chemicals. Preparing detailed reports and presentations on research findings and experimental results will be part of your responsibilities.
