Plant and machinery manager

As a Plant and Machinery Manager at Sarada Equipment, your role will involve managing the daily operation, deployment, and maintenance of our construction equipment fleet, which includes cranes, tower cranes, transit mixers, and hoists. You will be responsible for overseeing fleet operations, repair, and preventive maintenance schedules. Additionally, you will manage operators, technicians, and support staff, recruit and deploy operating crews as per project requirements, and maintain RTO documents, insurance renewals, and permits. You will also be in charge of managing equipment movement, transport, RTO formalities, controlling maintenance and repair costs, maintaining daily log sheets, preparing monthly performance summaries, coordinating with clients, vendors, and operators for equipment deployment, and assisting the Managing Director in follow-ups, quotations, and rental negotiations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee fleet operation, repair, and preventive maintenance schedules. - Manage operators, technicians, and support staff. - Recruit and deploy operating crew as per project requirements. - Maintain RTO documents, insurance renewals, and permits. - Manage equipment movement, transport, and RTO formalities. - Control maintenance and repair costs. - Maintain daily log sheets and prepare monthly performance summaries. - Coordinate with clients, vendors, and operators for equipment deployment. - Assist the Managing Director in follow-ups, quotations, and rental negotiations. **Qualifications Required:** - Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering preferred. Or any degree with experience. - Minimum 5 years of experience in construction equipment management. - Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
