Planning Manager

Job Designation

• Develop project plans, schedules, and milestones in coordination with stakeholders.
• Allocate resources, manpower, and materials to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure construction activities adherence to process, approved drawings & plans and safety regulations.
• Ensure daily on-site operations are in line with micro schedules, enabling smooth workflow.
• Coordinate with Project manager, engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Ensure all work is executed as per quality and safety standards.
• Prepare cost estimates, monitor expenses, and control budget deviations.
• Work with Quantity Surveyors (QS) to manage material procurement and contracts.
• Optimize resource utilization to minimize wastage and cost overruns
• Ensure all activities comply with building codes, legal requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Implement safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies on-site.
• Conduct safety audits and toolbox talks to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
• Ensure materials and equipment arrive on time and meet quality specifications.
• Provide progress reports, site updates, and risk assessments to clients and senior management, HIRA Matrix.
• Address client concerns and ensure all project deliverables are met.
• Act as the main point of contact between on-site and off-site teams.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Background:

  Bachelors degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• Experience:

  Minimum 8+ years of experience in construction site management.

• Technical Skills:

  Proficiency in construction software like Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and ERP systems.

• Certifications:

  Certification in Project Management (PMP), Construction Management (CCM), or Lean Construction is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience handling large-scale

  residential

  , commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage work under matrix organization structure and high-pressure deadlines.
