Job Description : Program Manager - Planning & Control Location: Site Location (Primary) : Near Mamallapuram off ECR Kadumbadi Road, Melakuppam ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/sJeCocLiZpapFwaU7 ) City Office : Mandaveli/Thiruvanmayur Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required : 8+Years About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Program Manager Planning & Control to lead and oversee a complex high-rise building construction project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the project lifecycle from inception to completion, ensuring successful planning, tracking and ensuring on time completion in line with scope and budget. Key responsibilities include project planning and scheduling (Micro and Macro schedules), budgeting, site review, stakeholder coordination, and quality assurance. The Program Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating cross-functional teams, resolving challenges proactively, and ensuring the project meets all technical specifications and client expectations. Key Responsibilities: Develop project plans, schedules, and milestones in coordination with stakeholders. Allocate resources, manpower, and materials to meet project deadlines. Ensure construction activities adherence to process, approved drawings & plans and safety regulations. Ensure daily on-site operations are in line with micro schedules, enabling smooth workflow. Coordinate with Project manager, engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve issues. Ensure all work is executed as per quality and safety standards. Prepare cost estimates, monitor expenses, and control budget deviations. Work with Quantity Surveyors (QS) to manage material procurement and contracts. Optimize resource utilization to minimize wastage and cost overruns Ensure all activities comply with building codes, legal requirements, and environmental regulations. Implement safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies on-site. Conduct safety audits and toolbox talks to maintain a hazard-free work environment. Ensure materials and equipment arrive on time and meet quality specifications. Provide progress reports, site updates, and risk assessments to clients and senior management, HIRA Matrix. Address client concerns and ensure all project deliverables are met. Act as the main point of contact between on-site and off-site teams. Key Qualifications & Skills: Educational Background: Bachelors degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in construction site management. Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction software like Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and ERP systems. Certifications: Certification in Project Management (PMP), Construction Management (CCM), or Lean Construction is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience handling large-scale residential , commercial, or infrastructure projects. Ability to manage work under matrix organization structure and high-pressure deadlines.
