Planning Engineer

Role Overview: As a Project Scheduler in Bahrain, your primary responsibility will be to assist in developing detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or other scheduling software. You will be involved in preparing the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) based on the Construction Drawing, setting work programs, target milestones for each phase, and updating work programs and progress reports. Your role will also include identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, coordinating with project teams, analyzing project data, and optimizing project timelines and costs. Key Responsibilities: - Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or other scheduling software - Prepare the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) based on the Construction Drawing - Set work programs and target milestones for each phase - Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly - Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies - Prepare progress reports and presentations - Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of tasks - Analyze project data to identify trends and potential issues - Assist in resource allocation and leveling - Track project progress against the baseline schedule and identify deviations - Conduct sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of changes in project parameters - Monitor project costs and identify potential cost overruns Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field - 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role - Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling principles - Proficiency in Primavera P6 or other scheduling software - Good analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Note: No additional details about the company are provided in the job description),
